Fall-ing Again

Fall went by in a flash. Great times were had apple picking, animal petting, pumpkin hunting, turkey eating, swimming indoors and visiting my dad's office. Can't believe it is 2013 already! Here are fall's greatest hits:

First, we went apple picking at a beautiful orchard in New Jersey in September:

The apple clearly doesn't fall far from the tree!

I prefer to do all of my picking on the ground.

I happily offered an apple to my  friend Danielle, not realizing that perhaps she would prefer the apple to not be half-eaten....

You think I can't eat the whole thing? Watch me!!

PS: The Michigan tee happened after I fell ill in the car ride en route to the orchard and we had to stop at a mall to purchase a new shirt. Don't I look handsome in it, though?

My apple-eating skills are par none.

Us fawning over Adam and his apple :)

I refuse to participate in this grinning for pictures phenomenon. Too silly for moi!

However, I can't stop laughing when Daddy put me upside down.  It was hilarious! A fabulous lesson in gravity from a former Physics teacher. Newton would be proud.

Sharing means caring :) I do best in pairs!

Wait, daddy, you have an ear too? How fascinating!

Impromptu trip to the Container Store.  They had a neat desk that I just had to try out. Just another day in the office...

En route to Boston, catching a nap.

About to go on tour. Have your people call my people.

We had a great weekend at the Buttermilk lodge in Milton, NY.  Lots of animals to pet.  I was a bit apprehensive when confronted with this sheep.

The donkeys were less intimidating because they were behind a fence.  I even attempted to feed them some goldfish crackers.

Happy Fall!

Around October, the weather started to get chillier.  Me on a fabulous swing - very comfty.

I found Saba to be the better ride, though! Much smoother (and friendlier)

My friend Marlin and I, checking out some horses at a farm in upstate NY.

These horsers are not for sale? Seriously?

I felt better after some play time with daddy.

My second Halloween.  Hence the outfit.  Not sure about the eggplant.

Me at my friend Sophie's birthday party. Daddy and I are look-a-likes! (ahem...)

I found the hayride to be an excellent place for flirting. Tried to pick up this chick, but then it was time for cake.

This pumpkin will be mine!

Posing with the pumpkins.

I finally scored, giving my friend Danielle a sweet kiss (which landed on her nose)

Mommy is trying to hunt me down. Maybe she is afraid I'll eat the pumpkins!

Happy turkey day!  This is not the first time I have been compared to a turkey.  Hard to say who is more delicious....

Over Thanksgiving, Saba (and Safta) joined us and we all got cozy.  Me showing Saba how well I can watch videos on my kindle, while snuggling.

The men got a bit TOO cozy during the football game, and passed out, all at the same time.

The next day, Safta took me swimming. Splish splash!

Daddy made a little float for me out of a water tube.  Next time, I'll try the 100m butterfly race, without floaties.

Having just as much fun without getting wet.

I want to be just like daddy and wear a tie too!

I got the chance to do this while visiting his office for a children's holiday party.  I immediately went for daddy's desk and his computer.  I enjoyed the many screens and found the disussion regarding credit default swaps to be absolutely illuminating....  I attempted to do a trade, but apparently need to pass my Series 7 first.

The crop report is coming out soon...

 Sell Mortimer, sell!

"My god, the Dukes are going to corner the entire orange juice market"

Not if I can drink it all first...!

Blocks seem slightly less complicated than derivatives.  Whew.

Clean up in aisle 7.

A brief pre-New Year's sojourn to Atlantic City.  My videos interested me much more than black jack.

The hotel was so comfortable, we all promptly passed out for some much needed rest.

I had a few drinks, primarily of puffs.

Then celebrated some more on New Year's Day.  I'd be much more content without this dorky hat, though...!

The end!
Happy 2013!
