Happy Holidays from Adam

My blog updates seem to follow a 3-month pattern (the time it takes for my parents to get their act together!)

I'm nearly 9-months old now and a ridiculous amount has happened over the past few months.  Halloween, various parties, more visits from friends and family, and a rather large growth spurt.  I went from rocking on my knees to crawling to standing.  I'm not yet walking, but I enjoy pulling myself up onto various surfaces and making as much mischief as I possibly can.  This includes knocking things off of surfaces, attempting to eat non-edible objects, and crawling into corners and needing to be rescued by the big people I live with.

Enjoy, and Happy New Year!

(Note: this will hopefully be the last post with photos taken primarily from "my" iPhone - since Uncle Kenny and Aunt Nina got me a real camera --  the concept!! also the videos in this post can be found on the youtube links due to their large sizes :)

Mischief-maker, that's moi - I love to chew on contact cases. And look how much hair I have! This is me getting ready for my day.

Me sitting up in my crib (but not yet standing in it. That comes later...)

Hanging with the ladies in the park.

Ahem, one of them decided to perform an examination on my belly button, even though I am too young to play doctor...

Here's a video of what happened - beware, it is slightly R-rated!  I learned not to let the ladies crawl all over me after this experience :)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6uUih6BqEg

Me and Saba making eye contact.  He's lots of fun!

Now we are smiling and posing for the camera.

Then we decided to take a snack break and eat some delicious dried fruit slices.

Bacow men are handsome creatures, aren't we?

I have dimples like daddy, and I just love to show them off.

Look at me rocking my fabulous H&M jammies.

This is me practicing learning to crawl:

A few weeks later, I did it! All it took was putting the remote control out of my reach. I am obsessed with the remote control (and am not fooled by fakes):

Superbaby to the rescue!  and this costume does not involve an uncomfortable hat which is a plus!

Faster than a speeding bullet...stronger than a locomotive...able to leap cribs in a single bound...

Luckily my mom and I can dress up like superheroes together so I am not the only one looking ridiculous(ly) cute!

All this dressing up was too much for me.  I made it 10 minutes into our building's Halloween party before promptly passing out.

Luckily I managed to stay awake at my friend Sophie's birthday party.  I played with my good friend Ellie and we pretended we knew what we were doing with that abacus.  My parents hope that I will eventually be semi-decent at math!

This is me zip-lining in my costume at the Halloween party at My Gym. I didn't even have to travel to Costa Rica to do this!

See, I'm already counting already (or rather displaying fascination with the new more baby-friendly television stand my parents bought to keep me from mauling the DVD player :)

A repeat performance of me in my costume.  I was wheeled around door to door and people gave me candy which I attempted to eat, but found that chewing on the wrappers was much more satisfying.

Seriously, mom? You're making me wear this t-shirt again? and you gave me a lousy spatula to play with? Don't you know I am not a morning person?

This is me, perked up by my transparent Red Sox fandom. Actual red sox not included...

Teeth! TWO of them! my shocked parents tried to capture this for photo proof, only the picture didn't come out very well.  Hopefully the teething explains why I decide to sleep through the night only some of the time.

Adorable Fall Family Photo #1

Mommy & Me

Daddy & Me

Later on, I decided to sample a leaf.  My parents' friends Eric and May realized that this wasn't the best idea and intervened :)

Post-bath hair.  This is what happens when my brush falls under the couch.

Cuteness runs in the family.

Series of Bacow-men-friendly Thanksgiving Photos.

Speaking of Bacow men - in the spirit of not-so-musical genes (Kenny and Adele excluded!), Daddy and Saba serenaded me with a Ba-COW friendly version of Old McDonald Has a Farm:

Grandma and me. She's so helpful!

Luckily the grand-moms were able to share me over the holiday.  This is Safta feeding me pureed turkey.

Here she is helping me stand in my fabulous Jumbo onesie.

I'm a football fan like daddy.  Those Pats make me crack up.

Handsome like Brady - and now I am able to stand with support! Clearly prepping to be QB1.

Here's a video of me showing off these new skills:

Officially standing in the crib. Time to lower it so I don't escape.  Yay!

I'm a big fan of clever onesies with puns. Ahem. Prepping for Deer Valley next month.

A possible future career as a dentist?

I went to day-care and did very well.  No problem.

Happy Hannukah to all! Dreidels!

Naked post-bath play time!

Hilarious video of me and my friend Carsen getting to know each other. This was such an important event, that the paparazzi captured it, hence the flashing cameras:

In the spirit of making mischief, I tried to climb up the bookshelf and failed. Oh well, maybe another time...

Hannukah is awesome.  Presents! Wait, there is a religious component too? I thought this holiday was created by the menorah-making industry. The bear is so soft... could this be Justin#2?

Look who's going to be a future psychologist - me!

Oh wait - instead of psychology texts, I'd rather be reading US Weekly.  Need to know what's happening with the royal family, JLo, and the Kardashians.  Hopefully I will end up in the Just Like Us section in a few years, or perhaps Who Wore This Onesie Best? Happy New Year everyone - best wishes for 2012!
